Golf Help

Hello to all,

It has been a while since I posted.  There has been a lot going on around here with a new grandchild nearing her arrival.  I honestly have needed no golf help this summer.

When I last posted, I gave a little background on myself and my golf shortcomings.  I have discovered some great information both from friends and other sources.  I just have not been able to get to the golf course to verify my info.

GOLF HELP IS SIMPLER THAN YOU MAY THINK

I guess that the place to start on your golf game is in the beginning.  The Set-Up will most certainly control your progress from the very foundation of your game.  Anything that is built must be standing on a firm foundation or it is destined to fall apart.  If a car has bad lug nuts, the wheels will eventually fall off as my prior golf game has proven over and over again.  The same applies to golf.  If you don’t have a firm foundation, all of the golf help in the world will not help you.

The set up looks simple enough but have you looked at a video or photo of yourself addressing the ball.  As for me, help can’t get here soon enough.  I was really embarrassed to see myself in that position.  My shoulders were slumped, my back was bent, my feet were too close together, my arms were bent, the golf club face was turned out and the ball was nearest to my back foot.  NOT PRETTY!!  I haven’t even mentioned the swing yet.  We’ll go there later.

You are probably already thinking “How in the heck did he ever hit the ball?”  Not so fast, you haven’t seen yourself yet.  Give it a try, you will be surprised.  You can use a little golf help yourself.  Remember that my game did have bright spots in spite of my bad habits.

Happy golfing,

Clayton

Best and Simplest Ways to Improve Your Golf Game.

Hello everybody,

Let’s put an end to the nightmare of bending, breaking and buying new clubs and learn some of the simple tricks and strategies to help you to acquire an extremely simple and repeatable golf swing.

I am a high handicapper just like some of you, probably most of you.  I have always sought to not embarrass myself on the golf course.  After 15 years of golf lessons, training and a lot of practice, I still was prone to go totally out of control.  I did manage to shoot an 80 on a very easy course which I played on 4 times a week.  The next week I shot a 115 on the same course.  Finally about 16 years ago I basically quit the game.

I am now beginning a quest to turn it all around so I may enjoy the rest of my life and be able to golf with the “Big Boys”…. whoever they are.

I will be doing research wherever I can to get the proper training and help to get that elusive simple repeatable golf swing.

One thing time has taught me is that I must first have a teachable spirit.  Out with the old and in with the new!  My real advantage will be my lack of practice in recent years.  The worst thing that can happen is to get really “good” at “bad” habits.  That’s where I was 16 years ago.  It simply got unbearable.  I wasn’t going to spend my hard earned money to go out and be miserable.  I inevitably came home with a bad attitude and an insatiable desire to kick the dog.

Nobody liked me anymore.  I ended up having to play golf by myself because nobody wanted to be around me on the course.

I had since taken up easier sports like SNOW SKIING!  I am not the most athletic speciman on the planet but skiing seemed like something I could conquer.  It ended up being easier than golf.

Golf help and training comes in many shapes and sizes as I am sure most of you know.  There is a training program for every type of golfer out there.  I am here to tell you that if I can get this right, ANYONE CAN!  I am blind in my left eye for cryin’ in a bucket!

So please come with me and let’s have some fun and get this training and help that we all need, even you better golfers out there.

Happy golfing y’all,

Clayton
